Newly unearthed relics in a tomb in Dulan county in China’s northwestern province of Qinghai confirmed the realm’s significance as a commerce hub alongside the Silk Highway, an historical commerce route connecting Europe and China. The relics had been believed to be from the eighth century, or the center of the Tang dynasty. Emergency excavations had been began on the website in 2018 after 646 relics had been stolen from the tomb. The archaeological crew has since found greater than 1,000 items in Xuewei Tomb No 1.
